And just like that, that’s a wrap on year seven at Retro Stage! We can’t thank you all enough for your support and are so excited to celebrate this amazing milestone with you throughout May.

Ever since our founding back in 2017, we’ve been driven by our mission to share the joys of vintage fashion with the world. Our unique approach to blending the classic with the contemporary slowly but surely attracted a larger and larger audience, and today we’re proud to have such a dedicated following that shares our love of all things retro. From online sales and promotions to offline meetups and special events, we’ve flourished as a brand and have grown so far beyond the niche corner of the Internet we started in. Even cooler, the loyalty we’ve seen from our customers has allowed us to forge relationships with brick-and-mortar retailers across the US, giving people the chance to see our products firsthand in their local stores.

Retro Stage has worked hard to amass a catalog of thousands of designs, including everything from evening gowns and swimwear to shoes and accessories. Our designers abide by a philosophy of seamlessly blending vintage patterns and themes with modern elements to create unforgettable pieces that can stand on their own in the fashion world. This dedicated bunch ensures that retro elements are woven into every facet of our design process in both traditional and unexpected ways to express the charm of 20th-century aesthetics while staying on the cutting edge of contemporary trends. We couldn’t have made it this far without their tireless efforts, so special thanks to the Retro Stage design team!

Now for the moment, you’ve been waiting for. We wanted to do something special for you guys this year, so to commemorate Retro Stage’s 7th anniversary, we’ve launched a whole new clothing line! Here’s a sneak peek at some of the standout pieces we’re introducing for the celebration:

Yellow 1950s Sunflower Halter Romper

This vibrant piece pairs bold mustard-yellow fabric with a lively sunflower print that forms a halter neckline and ties in a bow at the back of the neck. It’s topped off with a matching yellow belt to emphasize the waistline and maximize both cuteness and comfort.

Orange 1960s Lapel Flowers Patchwork Dress

Taking a refined, preppy approach to the classic flower power philosophy, this piece’s groovy floral print is offset by a smart white collar and matching buttons, sleeves, and waist accents for a fun and unique result.

Black 1950s Solid Spaghetti Dress

The beautiful combination of monochrome and asymmetry in this dress makes it a true piece of wearable art. Constructed with one regular strap and one set of triple spaghetti straps, the garment is mostly black with one white stripe down the side that acts as a cropped skirt panel. This piece’s visual intrigue is perfect for more experimental vintage fashionistas.

1930s Polka Dot Patchwork Button Jumpsuit

This chic jumpsuit brings to mind the iconic sailor uniforms of the early 1900s with its color palette of black, white, and navy blue. It features a polka dot bodice with sheer straps that contrast wonderfully with its sharply tailored high-waisted pant legs.

2-Piece Navy 1950s Polka Dot Swing Dress

You could consider this one a more traditionally feminine counterpart to the jumpsuit we just looked at! The set consists of a dress with a polka-dotted bodice and a dark blue high-waisted skirt, as well as a matching blazer with polka-dot trim.

Red 1950s Polka Dot Spaghetti Strap Jumpsuit

Another gorgeous jumpsuit that takes the classic combo of red and white to the next level, featuring crisp white pant legs (with pockets!) and a polka-dot bodice with double spaghetti straps. A polka dot belt tied into a bow at the waist serves as that little something extra that finishes off this piece with flair.

Green 1940s Striped Halter Swimsuit Set

Made up of a white halter top with green pinstripes and dark green bottoms with floral button accents, this two-piece swimsuit oozes personality and brings a sense of freshness and vibrance to any pool or beach setting.

Pink 1950s Cartoon Pattern Spaghetti Strap Romper

This adorable romper is the embodiment of casual femininity with its rose-pink bottoms and slimming waist bow. Even better, the bodice is patterned with whimsical literary-inspired illustrations that will get you in the perfect mood for a tea party!

White 1950s Floral Off-Shoulder Lace Dress

An array of beautiful textures come together to create this exquisite black-and-white dress. From patterned lace in the bodice to printed fabric in the skirt, it floral down, bringing any wearer to the height of feminine elegance in an instant.

1950s 3/4 Sleeve Plaid Belt Long Top

For all you shirt dress lovers out there, how about a vintage twist? This fun plaid piece is modeled after classic lumberjack-style button-down shirts, building on that concept by adding a thick black belt to accentuate the waist and elevate the look. The best part, though, is that it comes in three different colors, so everyone can find a version that suits their style.

The team here at Retro Stage would like to thank each and every one of you for your love and support over the years. As we celebrate this incredible milestone together, we encourage you to get gussied up in your very best vintage-inspired clothes and accessories and join us in raising a toast. You can also browse our latest releases to find a new favorite piece to commemorate this special occasion. Whatever you decide, just know that Retro Stage sees your passion and is eternally grateful for your contributions to bringing nostalgic fashion back into the spotlight. Keep on being unapologetically yourself!
