Perfect dress for 1920 theme party and New Years I love love love this dress! I purchased for our schools 1920s theme Gala event. It is very elegant and beautiful blue. I got lots of compliments!I am 53 and I wore 2.5 inch heels. Dress was touched and dragged on the floor so I took it to the alteration.I am 135LB and I still carry my pregnancy weight especially around my belly. This dress (for some reason) made my belly look even bigger so I wore the weist band for the event. That is why I gave 4 stars.Over all, I love this dress! I can even wear to the New Years party.

Fits big, stretchy, STUNNING, well worth the price! Let me just start by saying, this dress is stunning!!! I absolutely love it!I am returning mine, BUT I'm reordering it. (In a smaller size.) I read review, after review. I even asked what size an XL fit. They said 12. Well, I'm a 12. By hip measurement, an 12. But I fit in jeans a 12 super comfortably.So, I bought an XL and it's really big on me! It is a very stretchy fabric. I read on reviews that it wasn't.... We must've gotten different dresses, because this definitely is. (SEE PHOTO). I'm 5'3 & would probably have to have it hemmed 6-8 inches (if barefoot).My hips are about 46-47 inches, waist about 37 inch sand I wear a 38DD. The dress is loose in all areas on me. It bunches at the zipper because of it.I have purchased a large and it should be here Thursday. I'll update on fit, so check back. Blue/Black 10/12 1920s Black Sequin Gatsby Maxi Long Evening Prom Dress Hi, I had the hardest time trying to figure out what size and if this dress would look like the picture. I thought it would resemble a costume type dress or look fake but it didn't!! It is a real dress. As for size, I ordered a Medium 10/12. I wear 10/12 (36D, 145lbs, 30-31 waist). The Medium fits perfect. The small would of been to small and the large would of been too big. So if you are a size 10/12 order the medium 10/12 it should fit nicely. My only problem is that I am 5'4 so the dress is way too long for me so I will have to get it hemmed/altered. I need this for my son's wedding so I will have to find someone to alter it. Overall, I really like this dress. The cobalt blue color is popping! I don't like navy blue in this color but if you are going to an event and the colors are navy blue attire, then the navy blue color will work. I prefer the cobalt/blue and black color better. Again, if you are 5'4 and under, you will have to get the length altered. Oh, and it arrived very quickly (two days). I am a prime member so maybe that's why? Anyhow, Hope this helps!

Stop scrolling now-This is the dress you want I absolutely loved this dress. It was perfect for the Harlem Renaissance event I was attending. I got so many compliments. One person even told me I was working the look so much that I looked like I was about to walk into the cotton club. It fit as expected....maybe just a tad on large side but I don't like my things super fitted so it worked well. This dress won't disappoint.

Perfect well made and fun 1920s attire!! It was perfect! Fit great, looks beautiful. Many compliments and fun to wear with the flapper fringe at the bottom. Good quality for the price but you may need some sort of spanx under to help look more flattering.

Beautiful and comfortable I wore this dress to a church gala. I have never had so many people telling me they did not recognize me! I am usually in my robe and this dress was an absolute hit!!!! Women could not believe I did not pay an arm and a leg for the gown. It was so comfortable I was able to dance and have a good time in it. I will definitely be purchasing gowns from here for all future functions.

Great for curvy women and awesome quality LOOOOOVED this dress! Great quality fit like a glove, I am a size 16/18 pants and 38DDD bra 5"5 inches and I wore a 3 inch heal and didn't need a hem. I ordered the 18/20 fit perfect. I got soooo many compliments on it. WARNING if you want the under layer to go all the way to the floor make sure you order the one that says "mermaid hem" the ones that just list the color do not go all the way to the floor. I ordered it in 2 colors because I couldn't decide the Rose Gold and Beige Champange I kept the Beige champagne as you can see listed in my pictures. I can't say enough great things about this dress and it came fast! I just had a baby 4 months ago and felt comfortable in this dress it hugged all the right places for a curvy girl!

Staring with Gatsby or Becoming a Princess? Absolutely LOVE it!!! I wore this on the second day at the Toastmaster Fall conference themed "The Great Gatsby". It also fit just right and was comfortable for all night ware! I'm usually a size zero/xs (5'5", 110 lb) with ... I'm usually a size zero/xs (5'5", 110 lb) with a B-cup. Upon inspection, this dress is gorgeous! The beading is exquisite and the fabric (mesh with a polyester blend lining) is soft, breathable, and flowing. I ordered an XS, which dragged the floor and has about two inches on either side that need to be tacked in to be for fitting, even with a VS bombshell bra on. Still rating five stars because it's the closest to my fit I've ever gotten for this pricetag. Definitely worth the purchase and can't wait to wear it to the Yule Ball in January (after altering it, of course).

I ordered both to see which one would be best. I would definitely say go a size down ... I am usually a size 8./10 but in dresses I usually have to go up a size. I was concerned about which size to try because the Small is 6-8 and the Medium is 10-12. I ordered both to see which one would be best. I would definitely say go a size down if you're in between because the material is very stretchy and curves to your body. The small on me fits perfectly, but still has tons of wiggle room so it does not feel constricted. I love this dress. It is beautiful and high quality. I was concerned that it would be too shear at the bottom and show too much of my upper legs, but the built in slip part underneath is very long and modest covering. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and it is an amazing deal. I can't wait to wear it to the event I bought it for!
