Fun Costume Dress I am 510 and this dress hits just above the floor when wearing flat shoes. I wore a thin black undershirt, so it didnt show through on top. The bottom part is a thin material, and it has another thin knee length liner beneath that. Its probably a good idea to consider wearing a black slip underneath. I am curvy in the hips, but it worked for me. The beads are well done and I got a lot of compliments on the dress.

I hope this helps future buyers! I'm going to a wedding in a few weeks that has a burgundy and gold color scheme. The dress arrived earlier than expected. What others say about the beading falling off when you take it out of the packaging is true, but I'll be honest in saying that its so tiny compared to when you're looking at the dress as a whole -you won't notice. Now of course, you have to take into consideration the amount of beads that fall off. I don't know about everyone else, but only two beads came off on my dress which isn't a big deal to me. I put the dress on and it looks great! I like the material because it's durable in my opinion, heavy duty. It's pretty long on me. When I'm barefoot, it touches the floor but doesn't drag. And I'm gonna guess if I wear say two-inch heels then the dress would hover off the floor enough to where it won't get dirty. One more thing, I especially like that little *sparkle* of the dress when shone under lights. I usually wear a size large 12. I'm 5'6" 180 pounds. I hope my review helps someone!

Burguandy 1920 tassel flapper dress I bought this dress for my birthday that's coming up in a couple of months. I ordered it early as shipping overseas and was unsure of what size to get. I wanted to give myself plenty of time to organise another one if it was too small or too big or whatever else. It arrived within 11 days and I'm blown away with the quality and craftsmanship. It is exactly like viewed in the pictures on this website. The 4 is still a tiny bit big on me but it still looks amazing and isn't noticeable. Great dress for a great price I was pleasantly surprised with this dress when it arrived. I thought it would not be as pretty as it was in online, but it was just as pretty! The beading and details are really well done. I couldn't decide between the colors, I bought both the black and silver and the champaign and beige color. The color of the champaign dress is very pretty, just not good on my skin tone so I will be sending it back. My only complaint with the dresses ( and this was on both dresses, so I think it would be for most of their products in this line) the zippers stick and are fairly hard to zip up. But, for the price, ya can't really complain. I bought the size 18-20, i generally wear a 16 so it runs a tad on the small side as most formals do. Overall, very happy and would recommend this dress to a friend.

It's really nice and amazingly comfortable. The size is true to measurements, but because of the stretch it's forgiving - if you are between sizes, you can go smaller as long as you don't mind closer fit. The over layer with sequences will hide the imperfections. If you go for larger size, like i did, it's still great - the fabric holds the shape nicely, so it doesn't look loose. Very, very forgiving fabric. As for the shape, I think it would fit the best someone with a define waste, no matter what size. Its bit long ( i am 5'7) but it's super easy to alter, even by hand, where skirt flap is attached. Hand wash, flat dry, super easy. Oh, and it came in about a week to Vancouver Island, Canada, which is very, very quick.

It just did not flatter me as well as some other dresses I ordered. Can't really put my finger on why. My son and I both looked at me once I had it on & both of us went ..."Eh". It fit well. I ordered a 10/12 and the dress had plenty of give in the material. I am just under 5'9" & just under 200lbs. measurements are 40x37x47 and I did not have any trouble sliding this size on. the length was not too long. I would not have had to alter if I wore heels.

Excellent Quality for the Price Amazing dress, it was of great quality and beautiful - I only rated it 4 stars because I am a size 14/16 (Australia) and the fit was seriously snug (largest size). I recommend that you wear the dress for a few hours, sit in it and then it shapes really well, I found it wasn't as tight by the end of the evening and sat beautifully.

I was so surprised how nice this dress is.We have a wedding to attend in November and the guests are asked to dress in elegant Gatsby attire, not the flapper.I was not really thinking I would keep it when I ordered, since it was low in price and I thought it would arrive cheap and not very classy for a very expensive N.Y wedding. I went off others reviews and glad I did.I bought a long black slip since I am not a fan of the sheer bottom material, the slip gives the dress a final classy feel.I am 5'9" and this is long enough for me to wear a heel with it. Looks Better With A Slip Underneath...Cute Though Bought this dress as a Mother of the Groom Dress for my Son's wedding. Got plenty of compliments. The one thing that I did do after reading the reviews was to buy a petticoat slip to go underneath. The bottom part of the dress is a very thin sheet. Very thin. It helps to have it flair out some . The petticoat slip worked out fine. It's another piece of half piece of slip looking stuff attached to the dress. They should've made it to fit the whole length of the dress. I cut my little piece out. It looked crazy. The zipper is flimsy, so handle with care. It did stay up with no problems.

Lovely dress, true to size, well worth the money Lovely dress. I would give this five stars but since I'm about 6' tall, I needed to wear dance shorts underneath since the beaded part just barely covered my bottom when I was standing up straight (a slip would have fixed that as well). If you're not an 6' tall online woman like me, you'll probably be okay without a slip. I usually wear a size 12 (sometimes 10) and the 10/12 fit me perfectly, contouring to my curves without being too tight or clingy, so I would say this is true to size. There were a couple loose threads on the bodice when I received the dress, but trimming them didn't seem to make any sequins come loose so that was no problem. I wore this for a night of New Year's Eve dancing without any loss of shape or loss of sequins, and this dress looked more expensive than it was. I would absolutely recommend this dress if you're going for a Downton Abbey or sophisticated Great Gatsby look.

Not true floor length for tall women I am 5'10" size 12/14 with 38" waist. I bought the 14/16 (x-large) which fit as expected around my hips. For dresses, I usually buy about a size 18, but other reviews stated it was rather stretchy (and they were right!). Other reviewers/answered questions said that their dresses were super long. Unfortunately for me, this did not turn out to be true. This dress fell to my ankles and was by no means "floor length" for me. I do like the dress and will keep it, but now I can use it for a ballroom dancing dress as they are supposed to be a bit higher.

The plastic that was threaded around the bottom of the hem, which gave it a lovely effect, came out whilst on the dance floor....so I had to pull it out entirely.
